White Borneo gets its name from its parent country Malaysia. For much of its long history natural kratom trees grew on the country mountainside. It is this fruitful, luscious landscape which provides the ideal conditions for Malaysian kratom.

The White Borneo refers to the larger leaves that the harvesters choose in order to make this strain. The leaves are dark green with a white vein running through them, the colour of the veins in the leaf is where the "white" comes from.
